RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is the official process for welcoming new members into the Catholic Church. Those who have not been baptized, Christians from other denominations wishing to become Catholic, and Catholics who have not been confirmed are welcome.

Religious Education
The three Franciscan parishes of Saint Patrick, Mother Cabrini, and Our Lady of Hope have a collaborative program of Religious Education.
The 2023-2024 Sessions for Grades 1-8 will begin in September at the Our Lady of Hope Parish Center. Times and dates will be posted as registration as soon as they are scheduled.
First Penance & Communion
The three Franciscan parishes of Saint Patrick, Mother Cabrini, and Our Lady of Hope have a collaborative program for Sacramental preparation.
First Penance and First Holy Communion are held each year. Youth and parents are required to attend preparation sessions. Parents of students at Our Lady of Lourdes are required to register for First Penance and First Holy Communion and will be required to attend a few mandatory sessions.

Confirmation
The three Franciscan parishes of Saint Patrick, Mother Cabrini, and Our Lady of Hope have a collaborative program of Confirmation preparation.
Confirmation preparation is held throughout the year for those in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Youth, parents, and sponsors are required to attend all preparation sessions. Students at Lourdes Regional will need to attend select preparation sessions.

Knights of Columbus
The four local parishes of Transfiguration, Saint Patrick, Mother Cabrini, and Our Lady of Hope make up the local member churches of council 458. We are dedicated to improving the Catholic Community through Fellowship and support. United in Brotherhood we carry on a tradition spanning twelve (12) decades.
